The 2024 Santa Fe has a punchy and efficient 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It delivers 277 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. The engines come with an automatic transmission with eight gears. The Santa Fe has paddle shifters on the steering wheel for manual shifting.

Except for the XRT, all 2024 Santa Fe trims have a front-wheel drive. The XRT comes standard with Hyundai's HTRAC all-wheel drive system. You can get this drivetrain as an option in other trims.
